Objective To explore the application effect of comfort care in radiofrequency ablation treatment of atrial fibrillation patients. Methods 80 patients with atrial fibrillation who received radiofrequency ablation treatment in our hospital from May 2024 to May 2025 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into groups of 40 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received comfort care on the basis of routine care. Compare the postoperative bed rest time, hospitalization time, and incidence of complications between two groups of patients. Use the Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS) to assess the psychological status of patients before and after nursing, and calculate the nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients. Results The postoperative bed rest time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups of patients were lower than before nursing, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comfort care in radiofrequency ablation treatment of atrial fibrillation patients can promote postoperative recovery.
