Abstract: Objective: To explore the influence of emotional intelligence intervention on the psychological and treatment compliance of maxillofacial fractures. Methods: 70 cases of maxillofacial region in our hospital from May 1, 2015 to May 31, 2017 were fracture patients, according to random number table method divided into observation group (n=35) and control group (n=35), the control group received routine interventions in patients, the observation group in the control group on the implementation of emotional intelligence intervention. The anxiety self rating scale (SAS), self rating Depression Scale (SDS) score, treatment compliance, swelling subsided time and postoperative hospital stay were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results: by comparison, two groups of patients after the intervention of SAS and SDS were significantly more than before intervention, and the observation group than in control group, significant difference (P<0.05); the patients in the observation group treatment compliance rate was 91.43%, control group in the treatment of patients with the total compliance rate was71.43%, there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05) in addition, patients in the observation group), the swelling time and postoperative hospitalization time is shorter than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: emotional intelligence intervention can improve the patients bad mood and emotion, and help to improve the patients compliance, and to speed up the recovery process, it is worth promoting.
