objective To explore the relationship between depression and sleep quality in patients with acne, aiming to improve the quality of life of patients with acne.Method Eighty-four patients with acne who were treated in our hospital from May 2018 to December 2018 were selected as subjects. All patients were divided into three groups according to the level of depression (SDS scale), recorded as normal group (SDS score ≤ 50 points), mild to moderate depression group (50 < SDS score ≤ 70 points), severe depression group (SDS score > 70 points). There were 31 cases, 26 cases and 27 cases respectively.General data and sleep quality levels (PSQI scores) were compared between the three groups, and the correlation between SDS scores and PSQI scores was analyzed using the Pearson method.Result The normal group sleep quality score was 0.53±0.09, sleep time score was 0.49±0.11, sleep efficiency score was 0.55±0.12, sleep disorder score was 0.46±0.10, sleep time score was 0.48±0.07, hypnotic drug score. The score was 0.51±0.06, the daytime function score was 0.52±0.13, and the total score was 3.44±0.38.In the mild to moderate depression group, the sleep quality score was 1.02±0.23, the sleep time score was 1.15±0.30, the sleep efficiency score was 1.08±0.29, the sleep disorder score was 1.13±0.34, and the sleep time score was 1.10±0.35. The hypnotic drug score was 1.21±0.25, the daytime function score was 1.09±0.22, and the total score was 9.13±1.56.The sleep quality score of the severe depression group was 2.21±0.34, the sleep time score was 2.06±0.26, the sleep efficiency score was 2.13±0.33, the sleep disorder score was 2.17±0.40, and the sleep time score was 2.22±0.28, hypnosis. The score was 2.14±0.31, the daytime function score was 2.24±0.29, and the total score was 15.07±2.74(P<0.05).Pearson analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between SDS score and sleep quality, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder, sleep time, hypnotic drugs, daytime function and total score were 0.356, 0.297, 0.388, 0.465, 0.621, 0.553, 0.601,0.517.Conclusion The level of depression in patients with acne is positively correlated with the quality of sleep. It can improve the quality of sleep by improving the level of depression in patients.
