Abstract
[abstract] Objective: To explore the clinical application value of Roys adaptive nursing intervention in postpartum depression. Methods: 100 patients with postpartum depression were randomly divided into control group (n = 50) and research group (n = 50). Patients in control group were given routine nursing care, while patients in research group were given nursing intervention based on Roy adaptation model. The HAMD-17 Hamilton Depression Score, Zung Depression Scale Score and PSQI Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Assessment Index before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results: The HAMD-17 score and Zung-SDS score of the study group were significantly decreased after intervention (P < 0.05); the HAMD-17 score and Zung-SDS score of the study group after intervention were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05); the PSQI sleep quality index score of the study group after intervention was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Roys adaptive nursing model can effectively improve the psychological adaptation and sleep quality of patients with postpartum depression, and can eliminate the depressive symptoms of patients. This nursing method can accelerate the postpartum rehabilitation of patients, and is worthy of clinical application.
