Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of bipolar disorder combined therapy. Methods: 60 patients with bipolar disorder treated in our hospital from November 2015 to January 2018 were included in the study. They were randomly divided into observation group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases). They were treated with quetiapine combined with lamotrigine and quetiapine alone. The mania score (BRMS), clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment. The occurrence situation was evaluated comprehensively. Results: After treatment, the BRMS score of the patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05), with statistical significance; the total effective rate of the patients in the observation group was 93.3%, with statistical significance compared with 70.0% of the control group (P < 0.05); the adverse reactions of the patients in the two groups were observed and followed up, and it was found that the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 10.0%, and that in the control group was 13. The difference of 3% was not significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Quetiapine combined with lamotrigine in the treatment of bipolar affective disorder can improve the manic state of patients without increasing adverse reactions, and the effect is remarkable, which is worthy of popularization and application.
