Objective To analyze the efficacy and negative emotion changes of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus complicated with anxiety and depression treated with Wuling Capsule. Methods A total of 97 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and anxiety and depression were enrolled in our hospital. The control group was treated with hormone combined with immunosuppressive therapy in 48 cases. The observation group was treated with 49 cases of Wuling capsule. The two groups were observed before and after treatment. Serum cytokines, serum complement, neurotransmitter levels, anxiety, depression, changes in symptoms and signs, comparison of clinical efficacy and safety. Results The levels of total C3, C4, NE and 5-HT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. The levels of IL-17, IL-22, IL-33 and HAMA, HAMD and SLEDAI were lower than those in the control group. (P<0.05); the incidence of adverse events was higher than that of the control group (P>0.05). Conclusion Wuling Capsule can effectively eliminate the negative emotions of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and anxiety and depression, promote the return of normal serum cytokines and complement levels, and eliminate the symptoms and signs of patients. The mechanism is related to the regulation of neurotransmitter levels, and combined with conventional treatment to further enhance the treatment. The effect is high and the security is high.
