Objective To analyze the effect of Kuntai capsule in the treatment of postoperative depression in patients with breast cancer. Methods 87 patients with postoperative depression of breast cancer were enrolled in our hospital by random number table method. 43 patients in the control group were treated with TE chemotherapy combined with psychological counseling. 44 patients in the observation group were treated with Kuntai capsule. The two groups were treated after treatment. Serotonin (5-HT), dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE) levels, blood routine levels, T lymphocyte subsets cell levels, Hamilton Anxiety Scale score (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale score (HAMD), quality of life, clinical efficacy, and incidence of adverse reactions. Results The WBC, RBC, PLT, NE, DA, 5-HT, CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ levels and total effective rate were higher in the observation group than in the control group, CD8+ level, HAMA, HAMD, EORTCQLQ-BR23 score and adverse reactions. The incidence was lower than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Kuntai capsule can effectively improve neurotransmitter level and immune function in patients with postoperative depression of breast cancer, promote the relief of bone marrow suppression and negative emotion elimination, reduce adverse reactions during chemotherapy and improve the quality of life of patients.
