Objective To analyze the nutritional status, cognitive function, anxiety and depression of elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy treated with nutritional diet and cognitive behavioral therapy. Methods Eighty-three elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in both groups were given routine symptomatic supportive therapy. The control group was combined with cognitive behavioral therapy in 41 cases, and the observation group was treated with increased nutritional diet. Post-treatment anxiety, depression, cognitive function, quality of life, nutritional status, blood glucose, blood urea, serum creatinine level and clinical efficacy. Results After treatment, serum albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PA), transferrin (TRF), hemoglobin (Hb), and MMSE scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and blood urea nitrogen (UN). ), serum creatinine (Cr), SDS, SAS scores were lower than the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Nutritional diet therapy combined with cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively improve the nutritional status of elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy, eliminate anxiety and depression, promote cognitive function recovery, improve patients quality of life and improve patient prognosis.
