Objective To analyze the effect of antenatal maternal application of prenatal management model and the effect on maternal depression and outcome. Methods 91 primiparas in our hospital were randomly divided into the control group (n=45) and the observation group (n=46). The two groups of patients began to intervene at 32 weeks of gestation. The control group gave routine prenatal education to the maternal group. Pre-assessment management model, comparing cognitive function, labor time, mode of delivery, pregnancy outcome, Edinburgh Depression Scale (EPDS) score, and incidence of depression after maternal intervention. Results The cognitive level score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. The time of labor, EPDS score, postpartum hemorrhage, infection, neonatal asphyxia rate, cesarean section rate and incidence of depression were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The prenatal evaluation management model can effectively improve the dysfunctional state of primipara, improve cognitive level, shorten the time of labor, increase the vaginal yield, and reduce the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum depression, neonatal asphyxia and infection.
