As a common type of fracture in orthopedic clinical practice, the choice of treatment method for tibial fractures directly affects the patients rehabilitation process and quality of life. As an advanced internal fixation technique, interlocking intramedullary nail has shown significant clinical effects in the treatment of tibial fractures due to its advantages of minimally invasive, reliable fixation, and fewer complications. This article comprehensively reviews the basic concepts and implementation processes of interlocking intramedullary nails, and deeply analyzes their clinical effects in treating tibial fractures. By reviewing relevant literature and clinical cases, the significant advantages of interlocking intramedullary nails in the treatment of tibial fractures were systematically summarized. At the same time, it also pointed out its shortcomings, such as high operational technical requirements and relatively high costs. On this basis, this article proposes corresponding improvement suggestions in order to further optimize the application of interlocking intramedullary nails and provide more scientific and effective ideas and methods for the treatment of tibial fractures.
