Objective To observe the specific efficacy of olanzapine combined with aripiprazole in the treatment of schizophrenia. Methods A total of 61 patients with schizophrenia in our hospital were selected for the study. The time period was from March 2022 to March 2023, and the patients were divided into two groups according to numerical sorting: the control group (n=31) and the observation group (n=30). The two groups were treated with olanzapine and olanzapine combined with aripiprazole, respectively. The mental status and quality of life of the two groups were evaluated and compared, and adverse drug reactions were statistically analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had better mental state scores and higher quality of life scores, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The clinical efficacy of olanzapine combined with aripiprazole in the treatment of schizophrenia is better, which can improve the patients mental state, enhance their quality of life, without increasing adverse reactions, and has high medication safety.
