[Abstract] Objective To analyze the influencing factors of mental disorders in patients with first-onset cerebral infarction after interventional therapy, and to provide guidance for the prevention of interventions in patients with first-onset cerebral infarction and mental disorders after interventional therapy. Methods The data of 94 patients with first-onset cerebral infarction treated in Anyang District Hospital of Puyang City from January 2018 to December 2019 was retrospectively analyzed, the occurrence of mental disorders (hallucinations and delusions, depression, anxiety, manic episodes) within 1 week after interventional therapy was counted, the patients’ general information was counted, including gender, age, combined hypertension, combined diabetes, location of infarction, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, serum C-reactive protein (CRP), homocysteine (Hcy) levels. Results Within 1 week after interventional therapy, the incidence of mental disorders in 94 patients with first cerebral infarction was 14.89%; after single factor analysis, the variables that might be used as influencing factors were included, a logistic multiple regression model was established, and the results of multivariate analysis showed that women, temporal lobe infarction, and Hcy overexpression were the influencing factors of mental disorders in patients with first-onset cerebral infarction (OR>1, P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with first-onset cerebral infarction are at risk of complications after interventional therapy, which may be related to women, temporal lobe infarction, and Hcy overexpression. For patients with first-onset cerebral infarction who are accompanied by the above-mentioned risk factors for mental disorders at the time of admission, clinical interventions should be implemented accordingly to reduce the incidence of mental disorders after interventional therapy.
