[Abstract] Objective To observe the occurrence of postoperative mental disorders in patients undergoing total hysterectomy (TH) during childbearing age, and to explore the influencing factors of postoperative mental disorders, so as to guide the risk assessment and intervention of such patients in the future. Methods 215 female patients of childbearing age who received TH surgery in our hospital from January 2016to January 2020 were selected, self-made general information questionnaire was used to collect patient data, the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) was used to evaluate the postoperative mental disorders. Single factor and multiple factors were used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative mental disorders. Results Among the 215 patients of childbearing age who underwent TH surgery, 51 had postoperative mental disorders, the incidence was 23.72%; after single regression analysis, a multiple regression model was established and the results of multiple factor analysis showed that patients with TH surgery in childbearing age, the type of disease, the presence or absence of children, preoperative education, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative pain, and social support were the influencing factors for mental disorders after surgery (OR>1, P<0.05). Conclusion Insufficient preoperative education, severe postoperative pain, and low social support can all increase the risk of postoperative mental disorders in patients of childbearing age who undergoes TH surgery. For those with the above risk factors, attention should be paid and intervention as soon as possible.
