Objective To analyze the nursing methods and effects of corneal foreign body removal under slit lamp microscopy. Methods 66 patients with corneal foreign bodies who underwent slit lamp microscopy removal surgery in our hospital from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 33 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing care after surgery, while the observation group received comprehensive nursing care. The incidence of complications, nursing satisfaction, and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05); The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05); The quality of life score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the inter group comparison was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The comprehensive nursing effect after corneal foreign body removal under slit lamp microscopy is significant, which can effectively reduce the risk of complications, improve nursing satisfaction, and enhance the quality of life of patients.
