Objective To explore the application value of rapid rehabilitation Surgical Nursing (ERAS) in the perioperative period of rib fracture patients (internal fixation). Methods 48 patients with rib fracture treated with internal fixation in our hospital from May 2022 to may 2023 were selected and divided into observation group (eras nursing scheme, 24 cases) and control group (routine perioperative nursing scheme, 24 cases) according to random sampling method. The pain index (VAS) and sleep quality (PSQI scale) of the two groups before the intervention and the first and fourth weeks of the intervention, as well as the rehabilitation indicators and complications of the two groups after nursing were compared. Results At 1 and 4 weeks after the intervention, the vas and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the patients first ambulation, the healing time of the operation mouth, and the total hospital stay were shorter than those of the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion eras nursing in the perioperative period of patients with rib fracture treated with internal fixation can improve the nursing effect and promote the early recovery of patients.
