Objective Observation and analysis of the clinical effects and application value of comprehensive nursing interventions for patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to select 60 patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers who visited the hospital (sample size: 60 cases; sample inclusion time: May 2022 to May 2023). They were randomly divided into two groups based on ball touching, control and experimental, with a highly consistent number of observed cases. Implement routine nursing and comprehensive nursing interventions separately. Collect and analyze nursing outcomes. Results Compared with the control group (conventional nursing), the experimental group (comprehensive nursing intervention) had higher quality of life scores, lower anxiety and depression scores, lower gastrointestinal symptom scores, and lower incidence of complications after nursing (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer, improve negative emotions, alleviate symptoms, reduce the risk of complications, promote recovery, and has high application value.
