Objective To analyze the effect of outpatient nursing intervention on the rehabilitation of patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation who were treated in our hospital were selected and divided into 50 observation groups and 50 control groups by random number table method. During the treatment, the control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received outpatient nursing intervention. The effects of the two nursing modes were compared. Results Compared with the results of each index of the control group, the anxiety score of the observation group showed an ideal improvement effect, the patients compliance with medical treatment and self-care ability were significantly improved, the degree of lumbar pain was also significantly reduced, and the final lumbar function recovery effect was better than that of the control group. The recurrence rate within 6 months after treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the quality of life of patients was improved compared with that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Outpatient nursing intervention for patients with lumbar disc herniation can timely improve patients negative emotions, enhance patients compliance with medical treatment and self-care ability, improve the effect of lumbar function recovery, and reduce the recurrence rate.
