Objective Study on the impact of midwife led position care combined with motivational psychological counseling on primiparous women. Methods 100 primiparous women admitted between January 2024 and December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a control group (50 cases, receiving conventional nursing methods) and an observation group (50 cases, receiving midwife led positional nursing combined with motivational psychological counseling) using a random number table method. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results Before nursing, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of negative emotions and delivery control scores (P>0.05). After nursing, the anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). In terms of delivery control score, the observation group scored higher than the control group (P<0.05). The natural delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference in adverse outcomes between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Implementing midwife led position care combined with motivational psychological counseling for primiparous women can significantly improve their negative emotions and enhance their sense of delivery control.
