[Abstract] Objective: To observe the effect of self-management guided by self-efficacy theory on asthma control effect, psychological development state, psychological resilience and self-management behavior in children with asthma. Selection methods: our department during June 2018 to June 2020, 93 cases of children with asthma as the research object, 46 cases of control group routine treatment and management scheme, observation group of 47 patients with self-efficacy theory as the guidance of self management solution to intervene, after six months, compared two groups of children with asthma control effect, the psychological development and self management behavior score. Results: The c-ACT scores, FEV1% and PEF% of children in the two groups were significantly better than those before intervention (P<0.05), and the C-ACT scores, FEV1% and PEF% of children in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). HAMA, HAMD and SASC scores of the two groups after the intervention were significantly better than those before the intervention (P<0.05), and HAMA, HAMD and SASC scores of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). After intervention, scores of all aspects of self-management behavior of children in the two groups were significantly better than those before intervention (P<0.05), and scores of self-management behavior of children in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Self-management guided by self-efficacy theory can significantly improve the asthma control effect of children with asthma, improve their anxiety and depression, and enhance their self-management ability, which is worthy of clinical application.
