Objective To analyze the effect of humanized nursing on nursing quality in outpatient infusion center. Methods A total of 60 patients who received intravenous infusion treatment in the outpatient infusion center of our hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected and divided into groups by random number table method. Patients who received routine nursing were the control group, with a total of 30 cases. On this basis, patients who received humanized nursing were the observation group, with a total of 30 cases. The nursing quality score, patient negative emotion score [self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS)], incidence of nursing adverse events and nursing satisfaction were compared. Results The nursing quality score and nursing satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group. The SAS, SDS scores and incidence of nursing adverse events of the patients in this group after humanized nursing were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Humanized nursing for patients receiving intravenous infusion therapy in outpatient infusion centers can improve nursing quality, reduce the risk of adverse nursing events, improve patients negative emotions, and increase nursing satisfaction.
