In clinical practice, for patients with knee osteoarthritis after surgery, postoperative VTE prevention has become the focus of perioperative management, among which drug prevention is one of the main measures to prevent VTE. Subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin calcium is used for treatment, and complications are less likely to occur. However, a patient with a huge subcutaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall caused by subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin calcium occurred in our department. The causes of the huge subcutaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall were analyzed, including (improvement of injection method, supportive psychological care, drug metabolism rate, physical factors, etc.) to avoid the recurrence of huge subcutaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall in the future, and treatment intervention was given to patients with huge subcutaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall caused by subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin calcium, so as to improve the clinical treatment effect of huge subcutaneous hematoma of the abdominal wall, so as to improve the clinical efficacy of subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin calcium and ensure the safety of patient treatment.
