Objective To explore the application value of outcome-oriented bundled care in patients undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery. Methods A total of 45 patients undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery in our hospital from January 2024 to August 2024 were enrolled and divided into two groups using a random data table method, namely, a control group (n=22, conventional care) and a study group (n=23, outcome-oriented bundled care). The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results All clinical indicators (first defecation, first flatus, recovery of bowel sounds, first eating, first getting out of bed, and time required for hospitalization) of the study group were better than those of the control group, with a comparison between the two groups (P＜0.05); before nursing, there was no significant difference in the comparison of each indicator between the two groups of patients (P＞0.05). After nursing, the VAS score of the study group was lower, while the SQOL score was higher than that of the control group, with a comparison between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion Outcome-oriented bundled care can significantly reduce the pain of patients undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery, thereby promoting postoperative recovery and improving the quality of life of patients. It is worthy of promotion and application.
