Objective To explore and analyze the value of PDCA cycle management method in improving the nursing quality of ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery operating rooms. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent surgery in the Department of Internal Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck Surgery at the hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. Among them, 50 patients from December 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the control group and received routine intervention. 50 patients from June 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the observation group and received PDCA management. The nursing quality, risk event incidence, and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The quality and satisfaction of nursing care in the operating room of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, P＜0.05, The incidence of risk events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, P＜0.05. Conclusion PDCA cycle management can significantly improve the quality of operating room nursing, the incidence of risk events, and satisfaction, and is worthy of promotion and application.
