Objective To analyze the clinical effect of comprehensive care in patients with refractory recurrent multiple myeloma treated with chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CAR-T). Methods In this study, 60 patients with multiple myeloma who received treatment in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to random number table method: observation group and control group, with 30 patients in each group. Patients in both groups received chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy, and routine care was given to the control group while comprehensive care was given to the observation group. The nursing treatment effect of the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results The improvement effect of anxiety and compliance in the observation group was better than that in the control group, the complication rate was lower than that in the control group, the pain degree was less than that in the control group, and the final quality of life was significantly improved compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive nursing in CAR-T therapy management of multiple myeloma patients can enhance the physical and mental comfort and cooperation of patients, reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve the effect of disease control and quality of life.
