Objective To analyze the clinical effect of evidence-based care in elderly hernia surgery patients. Methods the study case screening during November 2023 to November 2024 in our hospital surgery for elderly hernia patients 60 cases, group take random number table method, is divided into 30 cases of observation group and 30 control group, control group patients receive routine care, observation group patients give evidence-based care, comparative analysis of the effect of the two nursing mode. Results The comparison of the final results of the two groups showed that the quality of care of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the patients compliance behavior score was higher than that of the control group, the patients anxiety was better than that of the control group, the patients were significantly reduced, the postoperative exhaust, ambulation and hospitalization were shorter than that of the control group, and the complication rate was significantly lower than that of the control group. In the end, the quality of life of the patients was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Timely evidence-based nursing intervention for elderly hernia surgery patients can further improve the quality of clinical care and patient compliance, improve the surgical effect and safety, and reduce the pain and suffering of patients.
