Objective To investigate the effect of targeted nursing on patients undergoing otoendoscopic tympanic membrane repair surgery for chronic suppurative otitis media. Methods Ninety patients with chronic suppurative otitis media who underwent otoendoscopic tympanic membrane repair surgery at Suzhou Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in Gusu District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were divided into two groups according to their admission time. The control group (45 cases) received routine nursing care, while the observation group (45 cases) received targeted nursing care. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had significantly better surgical bleeding, operation time, VAS score, and CCES score than the control group. The incidence of postoperative fungal infection was lower, and nursing satisfaction was higher, P＜0.05, Has statistical significance. Conclusion Targeted nursing has a significant nursing effect on patients with chronic suppurative otitis media undergoing endoscopic tympanic membrane repair surgery, and it is recommended to promote its application.
