Objective To analyze the effectiveness of evidence-based care in the management of long-term bedridden elderly patients. Methods Now80 long-term bedridden elderly patients treated in our hospital from November 2023 to November 2024 are divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, and each group has 40 cases. The control group takes routine nursing, the observation group gives evidence-based nursing, and the effects of the two nursing modes are compared and analyzed. Results In the observation group, the quality of nursing service, patient compliance behavior and family care ability of the observation group were significantly improved compared with that of the control group. The incidence of pulmonary infection during patient care was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the final quality of life of patients was significantly improved compared with that of the control group. (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of evidence-based nursing in the long-term bedridden elderly patients can effectively improve the quality of clinical nursing service, enhance the patients medical compliance behavior and family care ability, so as to reduce the occurrence of lung infection and improve the quality of life of patients.
