Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of operating room nursing cooperation on elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery. Methods 76 elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery in our hospital from May 2023 to June 2024 were selected. The subjects were randomly ranked from 1 to 76 using Excel, with odd numbered sequences receiving routine surgical care (38 cases, control group) and even numbered sequences receiving surgical room nursing cooperation (38 cases, observation group). Compare the patients heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, intraoperative bleeding, and surgical duration during surgery. Results The postoperative heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with P<0.05. The intraoperative blood loss and operation time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with P<0.05. The incidence of postoperative complications was lower in the observation group than in the control group, with P<0.05. Conclusion Operating room nursing cooperation for elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty can improve blood flow dynamics during surgery, reduce intraoperative bleeding and operation time, and lower postoperative complications.
