Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect and application value of comprehensive nursing measures for patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery in the operating room. Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery in the operating room who visited the hospital (sample inclusion number: 60 cases; sample inclusion time: May 2023 to May 2024) were selected and divided into two groups, control and experimental, based on random numbers. The number of observation cases was highly consistent. Routine nursing and comprehensive nursing measures were implemented respectively. The nursing effects were collected and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group (routine nursing), the experimental group (comprehensive nursing measures) had higher quality of life scores (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function/overall health), and higher nursing quality scores (aseptic operation skills/disinfection isolation/infection monitoring/operating room safety management), and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing measures can effectively improve the quality of nursing and promote the improvement of the quality of life of patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery in the operating room, and have high application value.
