Objective To analyze the effect of family planning intervention and extended nursing service for patients with induced abortion. Methods A total of 615 induced abortion patients from October 2023 to September 2024 were selected. The control group was treated with family planning services. The observation group was treated with family planning intervention service and extended nursing service, and the nursing effect was compared. Results The psychosocial adaptability of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). The rate of contraceptive application in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Finally, the humanistic care nursing score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of family planning intervention and extended nursing services for patients with induced abortion is significant, which not only popularize the relevant content of family planning, but also provide continuous guidance for the actual needs of patients, which is helpful to relieve anxiety and depression, and the intervention effect is accurate.
