Objective With the continuous development of medical technology and the increasing complexity of operating room nursing work, standardized management in operating room nursing has gradually become an important means of ensuring patient safety. This study aims to explore the specific role of standardized management in operating room nursing in ensuring patient safety and to provide a reference for improving the quality of nursing care. Methods This study adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. First, through literature review and expert discussion, the specific content and implementation points of standardized management in operating room nursing are clarified. Then, a large hospitals operating room is selected as the research subject, and data on the implementation of standardized management and related information are collected. Finally, statistical methods are used to analyze the data and assess the impact of standardized management on patient safety. Results Before implementation, there were issues such as non-standard operations and untimely communication in the operating room nursing of the hospital. After implementation, by establishing and executing strict nursing standards and operating procedures, strengthening nurse training and education, and optimizing nursing processes, the quality of nursing care and the level of patient safety were significantly improved. Conclusion The results of this study show that standardized management in operating room nursing has a significant role in ensuring patient safety. Through standardized management, it is possible to effectively reduce the incidence of surgical complications, improve patient satisfaction and trust, and reduce the incidence of nursing errors, thereby significantly enhancing the level of patient safety. The implementation of standardized management in operating room nursing requires the high attention and support of the hospital management and the joint efforts of all nurses.
