Objective To study the effectiveness of mental health education in military rehabilitation centers. Methods In this study, 80 convalescents from military rehabilitation centers were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into two groups according to the principle of random assignment: control group (40 students, receiving routine care) and research group (40 students, receiving mental health education). A comprehensive and detailed comparative analysis was conducted between the two groups of convalescent workers on the Self-Rating Scale for Occupational Stress and Symptoms (SCL-90) and the Self-Harmony Scale (SCCS). Results Compared with the control group, the SCL-90 scale score of the study group showed a significant decreasing trend, and at the same time, its SCCS score also decreased significantly, and these differences showed a high statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Mental health education has a positive effect on the improvement and optimization of the mental health status and self-harmony level of the convalescents in the military rehabilitation and recuperation center.
