Objective To implement emergency nursing intervention in the nursing of severe respiratory patients, and analyze the application effect. Methods The starting and ending time of the study cases was between May 2022 and August 2023. The subjects were 19 patients with severe respiratory diseases. Emergency nursing intervention was implemented during the nursing process, and the fingertip oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and quality of life before and after the nursing were analyzed. Input the obtained data into the corresponding software for calculation. Results After the intervention of nursing measures, blood oxygen saturation and respiratory rate were significantly improved. From the perspective of quality of life, the scores of the four indexes of physical function, psychological function, social function and material function were significantly improved (P<0.05). Conclusion For severe respiratory patients, the use of emergency nursing intervention in the process of nursing, can obtain better nursing effect, help to improve the respiratory condition of patients, can better cope with the emergency situation of patients, avoid the occurrence of serious adverse events, threatening life safety, has a better effect on the quality of life, contribute to the recovery of the body.
