[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the application effect of individualized psychological nursing in elderly patients with cerebral infarction and its influence on depression and anxiety scores. Methods: 92 elderly patients with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from August 2018 to August 2020 were selected and divided into two groups by single blind random sampling method. 46 cases in the reference group were given routine nursing care, and 46 cases in the experimental group were given personalized psychological care on the basis of the reference group. SAS score, SDS score, treatment compliance, PSQI score and who-qol-bre score were compared between the two groups. Results: the SAS score, SDS score and PSQI score of the experimental group were lower than those of the reference group. The treatment compliance of the experimental group (95.65%) was higher than that of the reference group (71.74%). The who-qol-bre score of the experimental group after nursing was higher than that of the reference group, P< 0.05 (the differences were statistically significant). Conclusion: individualized psychological nursing can effectively reduce anxiety, depression and other adverse emotions of elderly patients with cerebral infarction, improve treatment compliance, improve sleep and quality of life, which is worthy of reference.
