Objective To observe the effect of applying traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques in the treatment of Menieres disease. Methods A clinical trial was conducted, involving a total of 120 patients, all of whom were clinically diagnosed with Menieres disease and had complete data. They all visited the Department of Otolaryngology of our hospital from January 2023 to January 2025. After the patients were enrolled, their clinical records and data were anonymized and de-identified, and they were randomly grouped. They were divided into the control group (n=60) and the observation group (n=60), and both groups received the same comprehensive treatment. During the treatment process, the control group received routine care, while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine care in combination. Before and after the nursing care, the severity of the patients diseases was evaluated respectively, and brain Doppler ultrasound examinations were performed on the patients respectively. After the nursing care, the therapeutic effect is evaluated. Results The severity of the disease in the two groups was evaluated by the Vertigo Rating Scale at different times. The score results of the two groups after treatment were compared. The score of the control group was (48.70±7.25) points, which was higher than that of the observation group (35.70±6.46) points (P < 0.05). After treatment, the cerebral blood flow velocity in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the pulsatility index was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The effective rate of the observation group was 91.67%, which was higher than that of the control group at 83.33% (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques in the treatment of Menieres disease can improve the therapeutic effect.
