伍麦叶王朝时期演讲发展为一种掌控与镇压的工具，哈查只·本·优素福是伍麦叶王朝时期著名军事家、演说家，以冷血铁腕著称；本文旨在从费尔克劳话语分析的视角剖析哈查只初到库法时的演讲，分析语言与权力之间的关系，即哈查只对于权力关系的认知，以及通过文本对于权力关系的表达与实现；结合演讲文本中的语言特征阐释哈查只演讲文本作为社会事件参与社会实践并发挥影响的因果关系，即哈查只如何通过演讲在伊拉克为自己建立权威。

| Abstract |
During the Umayyad Dynasty, speeches evolved into tools of control and suppression. Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, a renowned military commander and orator of this period, was infamous for his cold-blooded and iron-fisted approach. This paper aims to analyze al-Hajjaj’s speech upon his initial arrival in Kufah through the lens of Faircloughs discourse analysis. It explores the relationship between language and power, focusing on al-Hajjaj’s perception of power dynamics and how these are expressed and realized through his speech. By examining the linguistic features of the speech, the study elucidates how al-Hajjaj’s speech acts as a social event that engages in social practice and exerts influence. Specifically, it investigates how al-Hajjaj established his authority in Iraq through his speech.
