[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the clinical effect of levocarnitine + erythropoietin in the treatment of MDH renal anemia and its influence on the mental state of patients. Methods: 102 MDH renal anemia patients in our hospital from November 2018 to November 2020 were selected and divided into two groups according to the single blind random sampling method. 51 patients in the reference group were treated with erythropoietin, and 51 patients in the treatment group were treated with L-carnitine and erythropoietin. The clinical efficacy, anemia related indexes, erythrocyte oxygen carrying capacity index and SCL-90 evaluation were compared between the two groups The incidence of adverse reactions. Results: the clinical total effective rate of the treatment group (96.08%) was higher than that of the reference group (72.55%). After treatment, the HCT, Hb, SF, Q value and p50 of the treatment group were higher than those of the reference group, and the SCL-90 score of the treatment group was lower than that of the reference group (P< 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group (3.92%) was higher than that in the control group (5.88%), P> 0.05. Conclusion: L-carnitine + erythropoietin can effectively improve the anemia symptoms of MDH patients with renal anemia, improve the oxygen carrying capacity of red blood cells, reduce adverse emotions, and less adverse reactions.
