Chinese modern poetry is a powerful emerging literary genre whose role in the dissemination of Chinese culture has yet to be fully explored. This paper aims to explore the English translation mechanism of literature, the understanding of modern poetry research, and the investigation of literary translation classrooms, among other methods. It will examine and reflect on Chinese modern poetry from various genres, authors, and historical periods, analyzing examples and charts related to modern poetry research. The study will also discuss the introduction and dissemination mechanism of Chinese modern poetry translation. The goal is to promote the English translation and dissemination of Chinese modern poetry, calling for the collaboration of both scholars and official institutions to enhance the understanding and interest in Chinese modern poetry in both Chinese and Western communities. The paper seeks to ensure that Chinese modern poetry plays a positive role in the dissemination of Chinese culture, tapping into its potential and forecasting its future. Amid a decline in the heat of translation studies and the existence of certain research flaws, this paper hopes to revitalize the study of Chinese modern poetry and restore its former glory.
