This paper focuses on the cross-university credit-taking course "Society and Culture of English-speaking Countries", and deeply explores the online-offline blended teaching mode. There are profound backgrounds and necessities for adopting this blended teaching mode in this course. With the rapid development of Internet technology, online educational resources have become increasingly abundant, providing a broad platform for cross-university credit-taking courses. During the specific implementation process, the course team meticulously designed the online and offline teaching content. Online, high-quality online courses are utilized to enable students to independently learn basic knowledge. Offline, activities such as group discussions and themed speeches are carried out to promote students in-depth understanding and application of knowledge. The teaching activities are well-organized. Online, assignments are assigned and questions are answered through the learning platform. Offline, teachers guide students to interact and communicate. The implementation effect is comprehensively evaluated through data analysis of students test scores and assignment completion, as well as by collecting students feedback. The results show that the blended teaching mode has significantly enhanced students learning enthusiasm and knowledge mastery. The relevant conclusions finally drawn provide valuable reference for the teaching modes of similar cross-university credit-taking courses, contributing to the advancement of education and teaching to a new level.
