Chaozhou culture is profound and extensive, constituting an important component of Chinese culture. Publicity translation is a key means of promoting cultural dissemination abroad and facilitating the global presence of Chaozhou culture. After reviewing the current status of international dissemination of Chaozhou culture, this study emphasizes that publicity translation should adhere to the principles of accuracy, practicality, consistency, and coherence. It then discusses the flexible application of various translation strategies in the C-E translation practice, including literal translation, transliteration with annotation, omission, amplification, and sentence restructuring. This study provides theoretical guidance and practical reference for publicity translation, effectively promoting international communication and dissemination of Chaozhou culture and even Chinese culture at large.
