Abstract
Annie Ernauxs autobiographical writing pioneers a new paradigm that intertwines personal narrative with social diagnosis. Through clinical documentation of marginalized bodily experiences such as abortion, childbirth, and consumer rituals, she transforms womens private trauma into political texts decoding gender oppression. In works like "Happening" and "Shame", Ernaux constructs a dual narrative grammar: on one hand, she employs medical archival precision to record bodily discipline (instrumental violence in illegal abortions, systemic objectification on delivery beds), exposing institutionalized control mechanisms over female bodies; on the other hand, through semiotic deconstruction of advertising commodities and domestic objects, she reveals how consumerism and class distinctions permeate daily life. This writing subverts the privacy of traditional autobiography, elevating personal memory into microscopic archives of proletarian epic poetry, accomplishing dual critique of patriarchy and capitalism through social translation of bodily experiences and sociological poetics of everyday objects.
