The English translation research of "Autumn Evening in the Mountains" holds multi-dimensional academic and cultural values. Its research significance is not only reflected in the practical aspect of poetry translation but also extends to fields such as cross-cultural communication, the transmission of Zen aesthetics, and the innovation of translation theories. With the breakthrough of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the field of natural language processing, AI translation has gradually become an important practical direction for the integration of literature and technology. Based on the theory of translator behavior criticism, this paper starts from the "truth-seeking - pragmatism" continuum evaluation model and makes a comparative analysis of the differences among AI poetry translations and the translations of three human translators, namely Xu Yuanchong, Zhao Yanchun, and Huo Hong. The study finds that in terms of "truth-seeking", although AI-translated poems are close to the original poems and convey the images, the deep transmission of cultural connotations is a bit rigid. In terms of "pragmatism", AI takes efficiency and market adaptability as the core, but weakens the cultural bridge function of traditional translation. Currently, AI translation still has certain limitations and cannot replace the subjectivity of human translators.
