His poems not only demonstrate Qiu Chujis acute observation of natural landscapes but also reflect his inclusiveness towards diverse cultures. The travel poems he wrote not only depict the unique exotic products and scenery of the Western Regions but also portray the folk customs of different ethnic groups, and further reveal his profound understanding of Taoist thought. Qiu Chuji used travel as a medium to explore the philosophical concept of the unity of heaven and humanity in the mountains and rivers, endowing his poetry with a deeper spiritual connotation.
