[Abstract]: Objective To investigate the correlation between debilitating index (FI) and delirium in elderly inpatients. Methods The elderly patients hospitalized in our hospital from January 2020 to October 2020 were selected as the subjects, Observe the non - debilitating state, NFS, pre-weakening (Pre frail state,) state PFS and debilitating (frail state,) state FS) incidence of delirium in patients, Multivariate analysis was used to observe the correlation FI different states and delirium. Results NFS、PFS、FS the age, IADL、 vision, hearing, sleep, ADL、MoCA、MNA-SF is declining, All the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). NFS、PFS、FS the incidence of delirium in patients, the average hospitalization time of delirium in hospitalized patients, and the average hospitalization time of delirium in delirium patients, differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The results of the two-tier multivariate analysis show that, After controlling for other clinical variables, PFS and FS are independent risk factors affecting elderly inpatients (P<0.05). Conclusion The debilitating state reflected by FI index is a risk factor for the occurrence and recovery of delirium in elderly inpatients, A timely and accurate assessment of the patients FI and debilitating condition, Taking appropriate preventive measures is of great clinical significance for the prevention and treatment of delirium.
