摘要
苏童《妻妾成群》中反复出现“凝视”场景,这种凝视行为是复杂的权力与欲望的投射,其意蕴繁复。本文结合凝视相关理论,揭示陈佐千的凝视力量对其妻妾的物化和规训,梳理颂莲梅珊等人在经历各种凝视后被逐步重塑的性格,以及她们反凝视的尝试与失败。在权力凝视与欲望凝视双重交织构成的压抑空间中,女性自身的主体性被消弭后最终跌入失语困境。小说深刻呈现了这套凝视机制对封建家庭中女性身体与精神的系统性压迫与摧毁,直抵父权制下女性生存困境的本质。
Abstract
In Su Tongs "Wives and Concubines", the scene of "gazing" recurs frequently. This act of gazing is a complex projection of power and desire, with profound implications. This article, in combination with relevant theories of gazing, reveals the objectification and discipline exerted on the wives and concubines by Chen Zuqians gazing power, and sorts out the gradual reshaping of the characters of Songlian, Meishan and others after experiencing various gazes, as well as their attempts and failures at counter-gazing. In the oppressive space formed by the interweaving of power gazing and desire gazing, the subjectivity of women is erased and they eventually fall into a predicament of aphasia. The novel profoundly presents the systematic oppression and destruction of the bodies and spirits of women in feudal families by this gazing mechanism, reaching the essence of the survival predicament of women under patriarchy.
