Against the background of the in-depth implementation of the Digital China Strategy, informatization has become a vital driving force for advancing the modernization of management in government agencies and public institutions. Official documents and archives, as key information resources for their operation, directly impact administrative efficiency, decision-making quality, and information security. However, traditional archive management faces challenges like data fragmentation, disjointed processes, and inefficient access, making it unable to meet the demand for efficient, precise, and intelligent governance. To address this, theres an urgent need to build a new official documents and archives management system, underpinned by information technology and guided by the "digital - intelligent integration" concept. This will drive a systematic restructuring of the management model and a sustained improvement in service effectiveness. Using an informatization perspective as the entry point, this study explores transformation paths and development strategies for official documents and archives management in government agencies and public institutions, aiming to provide theoretical and practical references for enhancing the modernization of governance capabilities.
