With the diminishing subjective status of translators, their role as supervisors of both literary and non-literary texts is increasingly revealing its true nature, impacted by the rise of AI. To uphold the human ethics that have been cherished for millennia, humans, as both creators and guardians of social norms and ethics, will inevitably take on the mantle of overseeing translation work. As supervisors, enhancing translation criticism skills is paramount, which can be achieved through the study of translation theories and standards. Hence, it is crucial to distinguish between translation theories and standards, as this will facilitate the enhancement of supervisory capabilities in translation work. Furthermore, AIs ability to produce translations efficiently and in large volumes poses new demands on translators. They must possess a heightened level of integrated computing skills and a solid foundation in communication knowledge. It is because AI is a product of multidisciplinary collaboration. Considering these factors, it is reasonable to infer that the model for cultivating translators will be a combination between the supervisor and computer synthesizer in the future.
