In the context of globalization, English, as a common language for international communication, has become increasingly important. College English listening and speaking courses play a pivotal role in cultivating students language communication abilities, while ideological and political education (IPE) is indispensable in shaping students sense of social responsibility, moral character, and ideological quality. Exploring IPE strategies within college English listening and speaking courses can not only enhance students overall qualities but also nurture talents with an international perspective and good moral character for the new era. Therefore, this paper aims to delve into the importance of IPE in college English listening and speaking courses against the backdrop of globalization and propose a series of effective IPE strategies.
