Along with the rapid development of our economy and society, vocational and technical education is playing a more and more important role in personnel training and social services, and is undertaking an important mission in promoting economic transformation and industrial upgrading. However, although Chinas vocational and technical universities have made certain progress in the number and scale, they are still restricted by the difficulties of the system and mechanism, the shortage of teachers, and the lack of in-depth integration of production and education. This paper aims to analyze the main difficulties encountered in the development of vocational colleges and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions based on the Ministry of Educations Qualification Assessment Indicators and Basic Requirements for Undergraduate Teaching in vocational Schools at the undergraduate Level (Trial), in order to provide reference for vocational education reform.
