Abstract
With the rapid development of educational digitalization, academic English teaching is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. This paper analyzes the current status of academic English teaching in the context of educational digitalization through questionnaires, interviews, and case studies, and explores the needs of teachers and students. The research finds that the traditional academic English teaching model has many limitations, and although there have been preliminary explorations in the application of educational digitalization technologies, there are still problems such as insufficient technology application and inadequate utilization of resources. Teachers have a strong demand for technical training and teaching resources, while students hope to obtain personalized and interactive learning experiences. Based on the research results, this paper proposes suggestions for strengthening teacher training, optimizing teaching resources, innovating teaching methods, and improving teaching platforms to provide references for the reform of academic English teaching. Future research needs to further expand the scope of samples and explore more diversified research methods to cope with the rapid development of educational digitalization.
